Durante su intervención, en el desfile militar del Día de la Independencia Nacional, el presidente Juan Manuel Santos, instó a las Fuerzas Armadas a continuar trabajando y cumpliendo con su deber. Aseguró que sin seguridad, el país no podrá avanzar en materia social, económica y judicial.
